— SECTION 5 — PROCESSING & LOGISTICS —
The real work begins after the knockdown.
Knockdown confirmation, clarification of conditional knockdowns with the consignor, invoice approval, collection appointment or shipping — every step in one clear list. Once completed, it disappears from the list.
◆ Clarify conditional knockdowns
◆ Packaging assistant
◆ Label + tracking number
◆ DHL, DPD, MBE & more
◆ Collection appointments
◆ Confirmed handover
— THE WORKSTATIONS —
Six lists that clear themselves.
Instead of one large overview, each work step has its own list — so everyone in the auction house sees exactly what they need to do next.
1
Knockdown confirmation
Every bidder receives their result — successful or unsuccessful bid.
2
Conditional knockdowns
Conditional knockdowns are clarified with the consignor — acceptance or rejection.
3
Invoice approval
Review and approval before the document leaves the auction house.
4
Collection
Preferred dates and collection requests, matched against the stored collection times.
5
Shipping
The assistant suggests packaging and rates, the label is printed and the tracking information is sent.
6
Handover
The actual handover is confirmed and documented.
— SHIPPING & PACKAGING ASSISTANT —
From the object’s dimensions to the tracking number sent to the buyer.
Packaging is suggested, not estimated
The assistant creates shipping units from the auctioned lots and checks the length, width, height, girth and weight of each unit against the stored conditions — determining the appropriate packaging and rate level.
The price is based on your conditions
The determined level corresponds to an invoice item with a price and tax rate. It is automatically added to the invoice as a shipping cost item — instead of using a flat rate that someone has to correct later.
Shipping label generated automatically
Create the shipment, retrieve the label and store it with the process — all in one step. Label printing is handled by the local print agent — even when auctionmanager runs in the cloud.
The tracking number is sent to the buyer
The shipment number is captured together with the label and sent by email. Shipment progress and proof of delivery can later be retrieved directly from the process.
Specialist shipping providers integrated
MBE for bulky, fragile and high-value items — with its own price calculation and order transfer. Plus DHL and DPD with label integration for parcel shipping.
Additional service providers can be added at any time
Shipping providers and their conditions are master data — you can add freight forwarders, specialist art shippers or regional carriers yourself, with your own limits and prices. The assistant compares them and identifies the most cost-effective option.
Documents and proof
Packing list and delivery note generated from the template, with the dispatch record stored with the service provider via drag & drop.
